Strollers are so important on a day-to-day basis.
They truly can make a difference in how the day goes.
My two favorite strollers are the Mockingbird Single-to-Double and the MomPush Velo — and honestly, I love them for completely different reasons.
Both fit different stages of motherhood and different everyday needs.
MomPush Velo

The MomPush Velo is the stroller we currently use most when we’re on the go.
It’s especially perfect for the toddler phase and everyday errands.
This stroller stays in the car always for easy access.

Features I Love
So Lightweight
One of my favorite things about this stroller is how lightweight it is. It makes getting in and out of the car so much easier and feels super easy to push around throughout the day.
Airplane Compartment Approved
This makes traveling so much less stressful. It’s compact enough for travel and perfect for moms who are constantly on the go.
Easy to Fold
Quick and simple folding is such an underrated feature as a mom, especially when you’re holding a toddler, diaper bag, snacks, and somehow everything else at the same time.
Fits Almost Anywhere
Because it’s more compact, it fits easily into smaller spaces, tighter trunks, restaurants, and stores.
Very Stylish
I also genuinely love the aesthetic. It has a modern, minimal look that matches with everything.
It also comes in different colors: Black, khaki, grey, forest and pink.
Reclining Feature
To recline the seat back, there are two steps:
- Pull the string
- Unclip it
Simple and easy once you get used to it.
Con
The biggest downside for me is that the bottom storage basket is much smaller.
It works fine for quick outings, but for longer trips or heavier packing days, I definitely notice the difference. In the toddler phase, it’s okay. But I think that in the newborn/infant phase it could have been a big limitation.
Mockingbird Single-to-Double

The Mockingbird Single-to-Double is one of my favorite strollers for the newborn, infant, and toddler stages, especially for growing families or parents planning on multiple children.
I genuinely love how versatile it is.
Top Features I Love
Seat Can Face Outward or Inward
I love having the flexibility to switch the stroller seat depending on the stage and what works best.
One-Button Recline
The seat reclines super easily with just one button, which makes naps and adjustments much more convenient.
Adjustable Handlebar
The handlebar can be adjusted, which is great for comfort and especially helpful when multiple people use the stroller.
Spacious Storage Basket
The storage compartment is VERY spacious, honestly one of my favorite features.
It easily fits diaper bags, blankets, snacks, toys, and all the random toddler necessities that somehow always come with us.
Easy to Clean
A huge plus for real mom life.
Stylish Design
It has such a clean, neutral aesthetic and matches with everything.
Easy to Convert from One Seat to Two
One of the biggest reasons I love this stroller is how easy it is to convert from a single stroller to a double stroller. It makes it feel much more long-term worth the investment.
Con
One downside is that the bassinet and food tray are sold separately.
However, in my opinion, they’re totally worth it if you plan on using the stroller long term.
More Budget-Friendly Alternative
If you don’t want to purchase the bassinet, you can also use the stroller insert instead.
That is also sold separately, but it’s much more economical and still works great for younger babies.
Final Note
Honestly, I don’t think one stroller is necessarily “better” than the other. I think they serve different purposes for different stages of motherhood.
The MomPush Velo is amazing for travel, quick errands, and the toddler phase when you want something lightweight and compact.
The Mockingbird Single-to-Double is incredible for newborns, growing families, longer outings, and parents wanting more storage and versatility.
At the end of the day, the best stroller is the one that fits your lifestyle, your season of motherhood, and your everyday needs.
