When my son turned two, we celebrated with a Yoshi + Super Mario birthday party, and it turned out SO cute. 🍄💚
Like most moms planning a birthday party, I had a vision… and then immediately realized how quickly all those little party details can add up. 😂
So I did what I always do: searched everywhere for decorations that were cute, affordable, and actually fit the look I had in mind.
Truly, I loved how it all came together.
So if you have a little Mario or Yoshi fan at home, here are the decorations I used.

A Few Things That Made the Biggest Difference
You really don’t need to decorate every corner of the party.
I focused most of our decorations around the main areas, and little details around the house, like the main birthday setup, the cake/table area, and hallway.
I also mixed the character decorations with basic party supplies in coordinating colors instead of buying a themed version of everything. It’s an easy way to keep the theme going without spending more than you need to.
I hope your little one has the most fantastic birthday and that these ideas make planning their Super Mario or Yoshi party a little easier (and a lot more fun!). 🍄⭐💚
